Young lombardy poplars at Vimy Ridge
A lot of tree surgery is required as a result of inappropriate planting.  Eucalyptus or horse chestnut are fine trees if you have the space but they will quickly outgrow a small garden.

We can help you select a tree of a size and form to suit its location. With some early formative pruning it should avoid the need for more drastic surgery later in the tree's life.

Many of the larger forest trees are available in smaller, more compact forms that are suitable for a garden. Examples include fastigiate oaks, weeping beeches, and smaller varieties of acer that won't grow to the size of a sycamore.
